Gillie at San Francisco AirportHi from Tracy too! The 13 hours on the plane from San Francisco to Auckland, NZ was hard but OK. Full flight so we were not able to stretch out...but at least we each had our own little TV screen and Gillie could watch movies and play games. Got some sleep but was glad to have a place to stretch out last night.
We got to Tauranga at 9:30 Friday morning--would have been 2:30pm in the afternoon on Thursday in WI. We had left 10:40am from Green Bay on Wednesday...so about 28 hours of travel!
Anyhow, enjoy these pictures! We are renting a campervan (like an RV) on Monday so will maybe not be able to blog too much till we are back in the city. We will be traveling around the North island a lot for about 12 days.
This is "the Mount"...a famous huge hill in Tauranga. We will go walk to the top of this mountain! It is only about 4 miles from our house in Tauranga...and see that water!?
We can walk to the beach from our house :o)

We are glad to see that you made it there safe and sound. That was an incredibly long flight. The classes misses you too. I think they may be a little jealous of your warm weather as we have below zero temperatures coming out way this week. We are excited for our first chance to skype with you later this month!

Gill how are you doing I really miss you I hope you have fun in your new school. You went somewhere warm when we are here in the cold.
